The reason is that the European Union has decided to keep its borders closed to the United States until August 1, and only then will the condition for 14 days of self-isolation of European citizens upon arrival on American territory be lifted. Since the tournament in Washington was to start on the 14th, the directors must now decide whether to deal with the organization at all.
Washington still fears ATP cancellation
