FIA is convinced that F-1 will avoid a repetition of a script with 2014 motors. The director of the FIA, according to formula series, Nicholas Tobasis expects that none of the manufacturers will have a huge separation from competitors with the introduction of new power plants next season of Formula 1.
I do not think that one motorist will have a significant advantage, as in 2014. Then power plants have become much more complicated. This time we move in the opposite direction, we simplify the technology. There will no longer be a module MGU-H, strict restrictions will be introduced in certain areas.
On the other hand, new manufacturers will come, and, of course, there is a risk that one of them will not succeed on the first attempt, "the manager said.
Tombasis answered the question whether outsiders could catch up with the leaders:
Yes. Every six races we will measure the performance of each engine. Those who are below a certain level will be given the possibility of refinement. This can be expressed in three forms: more means for development, more hours on testing stands, more time for homologation of the specification of the motor.
At the same time, Nicholas denies, the system is a copy of the performance balance in the world championship forecast by soccer livescore in endurance races:
This is not so. The rules will remain uniform for everyone. No one will receive more working volume or fuel.
If it were not for the restriction of budgets, lagging manufacturers would simply invest more money. Due to the ceiling of expenses, there is a risk that it will not be possible to catch up. But no one wants to lose forever - and that would be unfair.
