The season 2014/2015proved to be the last for some great footballers. Each of them will be looking for a new career. Some of them will get a shot at the television as a football analyst, the others will take over in the footsteps of the coaching profession, and others will pay attention to their family.
There are 5 players who will no longer be a part of the professional football:
1. Rio Ferdinand
Rio Ferdinand is one of the most emblematic players in the Premier League of England. After 19 years in professional football, the central defender will leave that professional field. Rio will be remembered mostly with his period at Manchester United, where he spent 12 years and played with the team of Red Devils 454 matches.
2. Brad Friddle
He is one of the most senior players in the modern football and he put an end to his career. The American goalkeeper spent the unforgettable 23 years for European terrain, playing for teams such as Liverpool, Blackburn, Aston Villa, Tottenham and more.
3. David Trezeguet
The French striker has something to tell the grandchildren. He won almost every trophy, including World Championship (1998) and European Championship (2000), David Trezeguet ended his career at the age of 37. Last, he is the author of 34 hits with the French shirt, playing in the League of India.
4. Thierry Henry
16 December 2014 was a sad day for the fans of football, because Henry left the football. He`s won the World and the European Championship with France, Champions League in 2009, with the team of Barcelona. At the time, Arsenal`s legend is going to be an analyst of Sky sports.
5. Marco Di Wajo
Marco Di Wajo left the soccer at 38 years of age. The Rome-born striker left a lasting trace in the Italian Serie A, bringing teams of Lazio, Juventus, Bologna, Genoa, Parma, Bari and much more. The former Italian international finished his career the American Major League Soccer.
