The Serbian Sinisa Mihajlovic will most likely replace Filippo Inzaghi headed to Milan. The popular newspaper `Gazzetta Delo sport` reported today that Mihajlovic had met with the club owner Silvio Berlusconi and the official appointment of the expert will be the case until the end of the week.
Milan, however first needs to fire its current mentor Filippo Inzaghi, which has been expected for several months, but it is not yet a fact. Mihajlovic announced on Monday that he left Sampdoria. The
46-year-old Mihajlovic took over the team in November 2013, having previously led teams of Bologna, Catania, Fiorentina and the national team of Serbia. As a footballer he has periods for Inter, Sampdoria and Lazio, as a particularly memorable were his performances of the free kick.
The former mentor of Real Madrid now Carlo Ancelotti refused to take on Milan, who finished 10th in Serie A. In Italy, after the refusal of Ancelotti, the options for a new coach were reduced to two - Sinisa Mihajlovic and Vincenzo Montella. It seems, however, that at least the Serbian is currently a priority.
